From decades of experience, writing and speaking on the subject of Genesis, Paul F Taylor has written this commentary on the whole of Genesis. While comprehensive, running to multiple volumes, it is easy to read, so the user can dip into it, wherever and whenever required.
Volume 1 covers Genesis 1 - 9.
In the late 1970s, the author, having been saved and coming into contact with creationist thinking, was much influenced by the late Dr. Henry Morris’s commentary on the whole book of Genesis – The Genesis Record. Over 40 years later, there has not been another easy-to-read commentary on all of Genesis, written by a creationist. In his project, About Genesis, Paul Taylor aims to fill that void.
The About Genesis project summarizes Paul Taylor’s research and comment on Genesis, creation, and issues concerning evolution. From decades of experience, writing and speaking on the subject, Paul F Taylor has written this commentary on the whole of Genesis. While comprehensive, running to multiple volumes, it is easy to read, so the user can dip into it, wherever and whenever required. It affirms the truth of this wonderful foundational book of the Bible from the very first verse.
Volume 1 covers Genesis 1 – 9.

Acknowledgments
Many thanks to those who have encourage me, and continue to encourage me, to keep going with this project. It is easy to lose focus on such a big project, but many of you keep me sane!
Thank you to the Board and volunteers at the Mount St Helens Creation Center, without whom I would not have this platform for sharing the truth about God’s word.
Special thanks are due to my excellent editorial volunteers, who worked hard to correct my spelling and grammatical errors. They are Chris Bishop, Cris Edens, Tim Constable, Jamie Keipert, and Tom Brown.
Finally, the most special thanks must go to my wife, and fellow believer, Geri. Thank you, Geri, for constantly praying for me and this ministry.
Any errors which still remain are, of course, entirely my fault. It is my prayer that this work will bring glory to God’s Name, and help many people to trust in the inerrancy, authority, infallibility, and sufficiency of the Bible.
